It takes a team of dedicated people to guide kids to love serve and have faith in God. Those who serve in our kids’ ministries are called the dreamTEAM. dream stands for the 5 things needed to make KidQuest happen: Dedication to use the time and abilities God has given you, Responsibility, Education which means we are growing in our understanding of God and Ministry, a Christ like Attitude, and finally a Motivation of showing Christ’s love towards others. As God builds these areas of your life, here is how you can get involved:


Step 1: Choose your destination!
  • Fill out a Ministry application.
  • Think about how God has equipped you to serve. If you’re not sure, just pick an area to get started. Serving in church is about growing in our relationship with God.
  • Read through our KidSafe policies. (Part of application)

Step 2: Turn in your application!
  • A background check will be performed (part of the ministry application).
  • An interview will be set up with a ministry leader. This will help you understand the ministry position you are seeking, and ask any questions you may have.
  • You may turn in applications to Carla Strunk, Susan Watkins, Mike Johnson, or drop it off at the church during business hours.

Step 3: Observe & Train
  • We recognize each person is different in their experiences and how God designed them.    Training and observation can take on various forms, but we want to focus on these after your application is approved.
  • As a general principle it is best to observe and interact with a ministry two times.

Step 4: dream
  • Enjoy being used by God in guiding kids to love, serve and have faith in God.
  • Continue to growing in your relationship with God, and help others be a part of the dreamTEAM as well!
