Awana 2010-11 club year starts Wednesday, September 15th, 2010
Mandatory Staff Training Dates
Wednesday, September 1st & 8th, 2010
Our desire is to reach kids for Christ and train them to serve Him.
Awana is for Preschool through 6th grade boys and girls.
About Our Clubs:
Cubbies
Preschooler ages 3 and 4 (date of birth no later than August 31, 2007).
Please note that Silverdale Baptist has a closed club for Cubbies. This is due to our current space limitations. The Cubbies program is available to children of parents serving on Wednesday Nights. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Cubbies and would like to serve, contact the Awana Commander.
Parents who would like to take part in Cubbies with their child are welcomed as well.
Sparks
K through 2nd grades
The Sparks’ books walk K-2nd graders through all the major portions of the Bible, setting a foundation to understand what God’s Word teaches. Counsel time focuses on reinforcing the lesson for the week in relation to what is taught in KidQuest on Sunday.
Truth & Training (TNT)
Club
Girls and Boys 3rd through 6th grade.
The TNT’s books walk 3rd-6th graders through the major doctrine of what the Bible, building on the foundation started in Sparks. Counsel time focuses on reinforcing or applying the lesson for the week taught in KidQuest on Sunday.
Leaders In Training (LITS)
Trek & 24/7 Trek is for middle school boys and girls; 24/7 is for high school students. Program offers students opportunity to excel independently. Students are encouraged to be Leaders In Training.
